The 2009 SBAAT lunch was held at Prestonfield House Hotel on 29 May. Over 350 people attend the lunch in the presence of HRH the Princess Royal where the winners were announced.
2009 Winners
| Roger White of A G Barr collected the Main award for building on what is already a longstanding and successful Scottish business institution. Sales in the year to 31 January climbed by 14.4% on the previous year, with profits up by nearly 10%.

| Sir Bill Gammell of Cairn Energy collected the International award. Having founded the business and taken it to a public listing in the late 80's he has overseen the growth and expansion of the Company, particularly through its subsidiaries in India. |

| Richard Dixon of Vets Now Emergency Ltd collected the Young Achiever award having identified a market opportunity and quickly created a successful business turning over nearly £13m and already generating strong profits. |  |
